We are an Independent Fundamental Baptist church that preaches and teaches using the King James Bible, and each week we reach out with the purpose of winning the lost to Christ.

We invite you to join us for our services. We hope that in doing so, you will find a church home that you will grow to love, as well as a church home that will help you to grow in Christ.

What to expect on Sunday

Walking into an unfamiliar church can feel like stepping into the middle of a conversation. Here is what a Sunday morning looks like with us.

When to arrive
Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m. Our ushers will help you find classes for you and your children.
The service
The morning service begins at 10:30 a.m. and is usually finished by 12:15 p.m.
Your children
Children are always welcome. After the offering, ages 0–3 go to the nursery and ages 4–11 to Junior Church.
What to wear
Many of our folks dress up, but there is no dress code, and no one at the door is sizing you up.

We want every member of your family, from the youngest to the oldest, to feel welcomed and cared for as we grow together in Christ.

Pastor & Mrs. Mike Leonard

Pastor Leonard was saved at the age of 6 in a little country church in North Carolina and was called to preach at 12. After eight years in the U.S. Army and Bible college, he and Michelle served as missionaries in China, Belize, and Brazil.

After a long way around the world, the Lord brought them to our tiny corner of Missouri. Mid-America Baptist Church voted Mike as pastor on September 12, 2021.
